Hilton Head Art Festival set for May
The second annual Hilton Head Art Festival will be held May 29-30 at the Shelter Cove Harbor. This year’s festival will include a mix of today’s top artists in paintings, life-size sculptures, photography, glass, wood, jewelry, collage and ceramics.
Families, art enthusiasts and art buyers are welcome to the event to enhance their collections. Prices range from $25 hand-designed jewelry to $20,000 sculptures. Many of the artists on display have been business professionals in the past.
The waterfront location will be filled with booths transforming it into an outdoor art gallery. The artists will be present with their work to discuss it with potential buyers and visitors. All of the artists were hand-selected to display their work by expert judges based on quality and diversity.

FacesOnCampus launches for students
College students can now not only rate their professors, but their classmates as well. FacesOnCampus allows for students to rate their classmates based on user-generated questions to learn more about the peers they see every day.
This is the first social rating site exclusively for students. Students are ranked within their school and the online community for each selected question. The higher the ratings, the higher the student ranks.
FacesOnCampus provides students a chance to engage with and learn about their fellow students, while expressing themselves in a unique way.
