Cougars defeat UNC Greensboro, 67-64

CofC moves to 4-3 overall, 3-0 in conference play

On the road at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, N.C., the Cougars defeated the UNC Greensboro Spartans in a hard-fought 67-64 win Monday night. The Cougars remain undefeated after three games in the Southern Conference and move to 4-3 overall.

Junior Andrew Goudelock had 28 points and 6 rebounds. Junior Jeremy Simmons had 9 rebounds and 10 points. Senior Cassan Breeden added 14 points.

Goudelock hit four 3-pointers and Breeden sank three more for the Cougars, who connected on 10 3-pointers. Charleston, which has 29 blocks over the past three games, finished with nine blocked shots.

After taking a break for exams, the Cougars host Charleston Southern (4-4) on Dec. 16 at Carolina First Arena.
