Public Safety incident reports from Feb. 10-17

Fire alarm pulled
A fire alarm was pulled at George Street Apartments just after 3 a.m. Feb. 12, according to the police report. The Charleston Fire Department told police that there was no evidence of a fire.
Vandalism
A Public Safety officer says he found graffiti in a McAlister Residence Hall elevator while on patrol Feb. 15. “You are what you is” was written in black letters about four inches tall by one and a half feet long, according to the police report.
Vandalism
A Public Safety officer says he found two colorful pictures stenciled on the wall on the fourth floor of McAlister Residence Hall. One picture is of a key and squiggles and the other is a cloud, raindrops and an umbrella, according to the police report.
Confiscated property
Public Safety confiscated a green and silver metallic smoking pipe disguised as a flashlight from the second floor common area of Craig Residence Hall, according to the police report.
Vandalism
A College worker told Public Safety that he found the Physicians Auditorium projection room door to be cracked at the top and bottom, with the steel plate for the magnetic lock broken off. The worker told Public Safety that it appeared that someone had forced their way in or out of the room. The damage is estimated to cost $500.
Cell phone theft
A student told Public Safety that her black Blackberry Curve was stolen from a computer table at the Stern Center Feb. 12. The student told Public Safety that she walked away from her phone and belongings for about a minute around 10:55 a.m. and noticed the phone was gone when she returned.
Disorderly conduct
Public Safety arrested two men after an officer found them urinating in the driveway of 4 Glebe St. Feb. 12, according to the police report. The arresting officer says he noticed the men talking loudly, staggering and yelling profanities at three passing females. The two men then allegedly went behind a bush in the driveway to urinate. Public Safety says the men were verbally abusive and one did not cooperate with police. Public Safety arrested both men for disorderly conduct and gave them a warning to not return to campus, according to the report.
