CisternYard.com is the flagship online product of the Cougar Media Network. The site features student created news and entertainment content from the College of Charleston's student media office, the Cougar Media Network. The Cougar Media Network is comprised of four student media organizations on campus. Each group offers unique ways for students to become involved, meet people from diverse backgrounds, and gain practical media training. Content is featured from The George Street Observer, CofCRadio, and Cougar Television. The Miscellany art and literary magazine is also part of the Cougar Media Network.

Who We Are

The George Street Observer

 The George Street Observer is the official campus weekly newspaper of the College published every Thursday during the academic year. The GSO produces two separate sections - a news and feature section. The first section is dedicated to news, sports, and opinion pieces. An additional section covers activities, features, and current trends.

CofCRadio

Founded in 2001, CofCRadio is the area's only music service dedicated to showcasing independent, new artists with an emphasis on local talent. The station airs 68 shows and employs 100 DJs. You can listen to CofCRadio by clicking on it's here or on the widget found on CisternYard.com's homepage .
