Jamie Lee Curtis is in Charleston filming the next iteration of the “Halloween” franchise. Curtis has created quite the buzz as students have engaged in a game of cat and mouse for photo opportunities. Many students agree that Curtis has been surprisingly patient and personable when confronted with a selfie proposal.
But, “Halloween” is not the only production being filmed in Charleston. NBC’s “This is Us” Producer John Todd will be filming “Salvage” according to The Post and Courrier. The South Carolina Film Commission posted on Facebook that the show will be filmed from Mar.13 through the 29. The Cast has not been made public. Variety reported that ABC approved pilots for “Salvage” and television drama “For Love.”
Variety and The State report that “Salvage” portrays a a former police officer who is drawn into an investigation of a murder with connections to a sunken galleon, and struggles with his father, “criminal agents and a powerful town patriarch.”
“Salvage” joins other productions filming in Charleston including, “Halloween,” “Southern Charm,” “The Inspectors” and “Mr. Mercedes” which are both set to begin filming subsequent seasons, The PC reports.
John Todd is noted for his contributions to “This is Us,” “Ugly Betty,” “Hart of Dixie,” “Samantha Who?,” and “Caroline in the City” according the The PC.
