The White House appears to be losing one of its most important allies as President Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell have not spoken since Aug. 9. CNN reports that President Trump called the Senator’s office to express his frustration with McConnell’s inaction surrounding the investigation of the President, and McConnell’s failure to secure the vote needed to repeal and replace Obamacare.
Sources report that both men yelled and cursed at each other during the heated exchange.
Since the two have spoken, both the President and the Senate Majority Leader have issued tweets and statements accentuating the conflict. President Trump has tweeted his dismay for Senator McConnell multiple times.
The only problem I have with Mitch McConnell is that, after hearing Repeal & Replace for 7 years, he failed! That should NEVER have happened!

In addition, Business Insider reported that McConnell was privately upset with the manner in which the President handled Charlottesville. McConnell expressed his understanding to those who have resigned from Trump’s councils.
