It is almost over guys, it is almost over.
Polling tightened ahead of today’s election when FBI Director James Comey’s announced a new probe investigating Hillary Clinton’s email scandal. The new wave of emails were unearthed during an underage sexting investigation against Anthony Weiner, estranged husband of Clinton aide Huma Abedin. The judicial department advised Comey against releasing any information as it was against department policy and too close to elections. Instead, Comey released the information through a short and cryptic letter to Congress eleven days before the election, stating that he did not want to seem contradictory after publicly dismissing the case and reopening it. The investigation has yet to release any divisive findings, and it is unlikely that an announcement can be made before the election occurs.
According to the most recent ABC/Washington post poll, this announcement makes no difference to the majority of voters. A third of those polled, however, felt less likely to vote for Clinton after news of the announcement.
