Food for a Cause- on Oct. 27 a percentage of Stern Center food court sales will benefit the American Red Cross

It has been 3 weeks since Hurricane Joaquin hit our coastline. Historic levels of flooding devastated both Charleston and Columbia. While downtown is back on its feet, many of our neighbors are still in need. You all want to help, but as students with busy schedules, it can be difficult to do that. This Tuesday, there is an opportunity to lend a hand by doing what you like to do the most – eating. This Tuesday, 10 percent of all sales from the Stern Center food court will go to the American Red Cross, which will in turn feed back into our community.

The food court is located on George St. and will be open from 10:30 a.m -9 p.m. If you are unable to make it, there are item donation bins set up in Liberty Fresh Food Company.

Bring your friends, roommates, study group and close acquaintances to this event, because this is not one to miss.
