In light of October being breast cancer awareness month, Zeta Tau Alpha is gearing up its efforts to raise money for its main cause.
On Saturday, Oct. 26, ZTA will host the “Pink in the Park” event from noon to 4 p.m. in the Cistern Yard on George Street.
Many other sororities on campus are also supporting ZTA’s effort, as seen on their corresponding houses with banners supporting the cause.
“Breast cancer awareness and education is such an important cause. We really appreciate the support campus and the entire Charleston community have given over the past two years. We are really looking forward to a strong third,” Panhellenic Delegate Mallory Corrigan said.
The event will include carnival food, games, face painting and much more.
Tickets for the event are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free for children 12 and under. All proceeds from the event will go toward breast cancer education and awareness.
