CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA, APRIL 19, 2012: Cougar Media Network, College of Charleston’s student-run media group, is rebranding itself as CisternYard Media in an effort to streamline its departments with their flagship media portal, cisternyard.com CisternYard Media made the change to reenergize and consolidate the brand.
This rebranding effort will unite the four departments, CisternYard News, CisternYard Video, CisternYard Radio and The Miscellany. Additionally, there are two support departments, CisternYard Sales and CisternYard Public Relations. Each department produces original content while building relationships with the campus and Charleston community.
The Network will host an official launch party celebrating its transition tentatively scheduled for October 27, 2012, taking place in the cistern yard at the College of Charleston. It will be an open event.
